Dear Friends at Kiva Han,
I
could spend endless hours wondering through the museums and
galleries of Paris. Yesterday, I was the last visitor to
exit the doors of the Louvre. The artwork housed in this
city of lights is magnificent.
Cooking here is also considered a refined artistry. These
great chefs of France have mastered simple cooking
techniques creating delicious, elegant and aesthetically
beautiful dishes.
The Parisian
cafe in which I now sit is a perfect example of this
excellence in cooking. There are flaky croissants, breakfast
breads and jam, pastries, and cheese and ham all served with
a delicate vanilla flavored coffee. Coffee in France is
served in a bowl-sized cup, mixing equal parts hot milk and
fresh brewed coffee to create a cafe au lait.
I am sending you back this French Vanilla blend of
Guatemalan Antigua, Colombian Supremo, and Mexican Custapec
beans to give to our friends at Kiva Han. Make sure to enjoy
this special coffee with a pastry as exquisite as those I
have experienced here in France. It's the "creme de la creme."
As Always,
Sir Edmund Moore |
