Dear Friends at Kiva Han,
This
note comes from a place dear to my heart. I'm sitting in my
favorite Chippendale at my Grandfather's desk -- in my home.
As I look back on a long and fulfilling life, I have much
for which to be thankful. I have been fortunate enough to
educate young minds at the University of Vienna and to be
educated by the world itself. My life has been one of
adventure, love, travel and sorrow.
Throughout my adventures, I have
sought out and explored the origins of my passion, my vice
-- my obsession for great coffee. I have experienced and
scrutinized "Cafe" in France, "Java" in Java, "Kaffee" in
Germany, and a "Cup of Joe" in the United States. If I do
say so myself, I have become quite a seasoned "cupper."
During my brief hiatus from my
travels, I am now sending you back an espresso blend
perfected by my education of life and travel. This shall be
the Kiva Han House Blend including high grown Brazilian
Santos beans along with strictly hard bean Guatemalan
Huehuetenango beans. Use this for the perfect espresso crema
or a smooth brewed coffee. Don't forget to present this
coffee to my friends at Kiva Han.
As Always,
