Dear Friends at Kiva Han,
Here
I sit high on the top of a mountain in the Bucaramanga
region of Colombia. This famous growing area has steep
mountainsides with heavy rains. The fertile soil would
surely be washed away if not for the strong roots of the
pure-strain Bourbon coffee trees.
I am staying with the Vasquez
family. Each morning they rise early to pick the quality
Supremo Bucaramanga Especial Beans. The Vasquez' are strong
and dedicated, for it takes stamina to harvest these
exquisite beans. They hand pick each bean, taking care to
choose those of larger-than-average size and optimum shape.
It is because of this special
nurturing that Bucaramanga beans are considered to be among
the best beans of Colombia. Enjoy this extraordinary bean
and serve it--with the same care and pride as it was
harvested--to our friends at Kiva Han.
As Always,
